A group of expatriate Papua New Guineans is seeking to source funds to support candidates of what it terms “a select group of PNG wantoks”.
The email marked “strictly confidential” was obtained by online blog PNG Attitude which says that a bush meeting is planned to be held in Cairns at the end of this month. Unnamed expatriates are interested in funding an elite team.
We will support these highly intellectual achievers to gain funds to form a bloc for good, open and transparent governance in our beloved country, the writer says.
Comment. If this is a movement of PNG citizens overseas seeking good governance, AIDS Holistics wishes them all the best.
But if this is also a group of Australians with a gay and lesbian agenda seeking to have legislation passed on gay and lesbian decriminalization, they can go to hell.
We can see slow movement into PNG. There is pressure being put by AusAID and the UN. Senator Bob Brown came to support the new Greens dragging a gay and lesbian Trojan Horse.

Retired judge Michael Kirby came to PNG to help with the pressure on the Government. Something is happening. Ah yes, the Greens party has yet to select, publish and fund their stable of candidates. Time is getting on.

The Greens have been very quiet on environmental issues in the run up to the election. No public statements yet on RamuNiCo or Solwara 1. Perhaps the environmental platform is only for standing on.
An old friend described this view as our obsession. It may be perfectly innocent. But if the Australian gays and lesbians are involved, they have targeted PNG. There were people warning Europe of the danger of Hitler in the 1930s. They were said to be obsessed too.
