TAKING ARV MEDICATION ON TIME

It is important for the HIV infected person to take the ARV medication at the same time every day. The best approach is to use the alarm on a mobile phone to have exact timing for dosage.

There are strict rules for dosage. The same time every day is important. But every one is human and forgets occasionally. Take the medication when you think of it but do not make a habit of forgetting. Please click:

Oct 10, 2016 - Do you have to take your arvs at exactly the same time each day?
Will for example 30 mins (or even an hour) each way have any impact ...
Do not take two tablets at the one time. If you forget, just take one. But do not make a habit of it. Medical advice is that occasionally you may be an hour late. Just take your medication and be more careful next time.

Do not neglect to take the medication as you face the danger of a viral rebound worse than before.

There was an experiment in USA of people stopping medication for a month on and off. The experiment ceased when they all died.

A care worker once advised that some people do not keep their appointment for replenishment of ARV supplies but come a month later. They must have a death wish which may well be granted.

Sufferers should not drink alcohol nor smoke cigarettes as this interferes with medication.

A drunken man or woman may forget to take their medicine, be miles away from their bottle of pills, in the police cells or asleep when medication time arrives.

Dying on medication is a distinct possibility. There is a second line of treatment and nothing after that. There are reports on Google of a third line of treatment but not yet.

STORY OF POSITIVE LIVING

HIV/AIDS: FAMILY POSITIVE LIVING
Port Moresby, National Capital District, Papua New Guinea
The Positive Living message has been the work of many people over many centuries. It is family based as the main strategy in this country to reduce the infection with HIV/AIDS and to help those infected. The message has been promoted in Papua New Guinea by the founder Bruce Copeland amid the hostility of Australian advisors who wanted to push for a message of individual rights without focus on accompanying responsibilities. These were the gay and lesbian advisors now working for the United Nations. The family Positive Living message is a world message based on family love and caring. It has become the message of the churches. . Please make contact.
