After reading
of violent and abusive fathers, it is
pleasant to walk around top town in Lae and see fathers carrying small kids
around the streets.
Some fathers carry the kids in their arms and on
their shoulders. The occasional father carries a small child in a sling. Fathers walk hand in hand around town with toddlers.
I have not
seen this in other places. Is this just a custom of parents in the Morobe
Province? Fathers who carry the kids around town are part of loving parents in
families.
