I have watched the programs on cable TV on the imminent coming of end times. For a long time now I have greeted this news with deep scepticism but these days I am not sure. There is a certain foreboding in the prophesies of Nostradamus, Revelations and the Lady of Fatima.
It is easy to see global warming as the start of the destruction of the world. The human race is destroying the land, oceans, streams, plants and wild life of the planet. The world is now being wracked by cyclones, droughts, tsunamis, earthquakes, high temperatures, melting ice caps, flooding rains and fires all at the one time. Will Australia one day soon become as barren as the Sahara Desert?
We do not have to believe in God to see clearly that the human race is destroying the earth. The rising seas will flood low lying areas of the planet and make millions of people homeless. Is the world on the way to extended drought, hurricanes and earthquakes?
There was a fearful report on TV recently setting out the destruction of the earth if the temperature rises another 2 degrees. Continents will be underwater with billions of people dying of starvation and disease. Malaria will be rampant by mosquitoes breeding in the flood waters.
A report on Fatima recently advised that the three children of Fatima were told that the final showdown between God and Satan will be over marriage and family. On the matter of same sex marriage and paedophilia, God may have the final word. Paedophile clergy beware.

The world is suffering the wars and hatreds prophesied in Revelations. Is the anti- Christ on the way? There is now war between religious groups with genocide as an end product. This has been going on for hundreds of years.
The seas are being massively polluted with poisons and plastics. Will it ever end? Fish stocks will die out and the population of the world will suffer starvation and lack of fresh water.
But then another TV report told of the little Ice Age that went from the 13th to the 19th centuries and killed millions of people. I have been a student of history all my life and never knew of the effect of the Little Ice Age on the population of the world.
The Little Ice Age caused deaths that led to the Reformation, bubonic plague, destruction of the grain crops of Europe, annihilation of Napoleon's army in Russia and the potato famine of Ireland. Perhaps people saw that as end times too. But the world is in worse shape in the modern era.
TV reports are telling of the existence of aliens that have been coming to earth for thousands of years, We live in interesting times. I am losing my scepticism over aliens.
We are told of thousands of UFO sightings every year across the world all denied by NASA. There was even a report of alien ships above the Apollo mission at the moon landing in 1969. Were they watching as friends or enemies?
