A SECOND WAVE WILL COME

Over the last month, there has been a massive death rate across the world with a gradual decline in the number of infections week by week. Politicians have been telling the community that the pandemic will be over within weeks.

President Trump claimed the pandemic would be over before Easter and we would all go back to our normal lives. He had the sense of destiny of a small boy.

We are being told by World Health Organization that there would be a second wave far worse than the first. There may be an annual pandemic from now on. Social distancing may be with us from this time.

People in Papua New Guinea are ignoring the SOE rules saying that it is over and that PNG people are all immune to the virus. Public transport is being crowded again. Card players are ignoring social distance and sitting in circles handling money and cards.

We find that there are few infected people confirmed in Papua New Guinea but across the grass covered border there are up to 80 people confirmed in West Papua.

A report in the media refers to the numbers of border crossers to and from Papua New Guinea. The virus is on its way into Papua New Guinea. Card players will be early in contracting the virus followed by drinkers.

There are so many people in the democratic world who value their freedom above their lives. Mass graves are waiting for them.

There was a report in the media of Mexicans dying of home brew adulterated with methylene. It seems there are stupid people around the whole world. There has been a high death rate in Northern Italy as so many elderly people live there.

I used to help a friend to guide cruise passengers from tour ships around Port Moresby. There would have been 80% of passengers were obese elderly couples. I will never take a cruise in years to come nor live in a nursing home.

It is important to stress that the virus will replicate in the fat tissues of obese people. If there are still months before the second wave, it may be time for obese people to drink water not beer and soft drink, eat fruit and vegetables, avoid fatty meat from sheep and pigs and exercise daily.
