There is a report in the media that there has been an error in testing for COV-19 and there should be thousands of people sick and dying in Papua New Guinea.
But there are not such a number sick and dying. The proof lies in the size of the cemeteries of Papua New Guinea and the funeral notices in the media.
The population of this country seems so very normal. We must not be complacent as the virus may flare up at any time. But not yet.
It is a worry to read that the antibodies may decline within 3 months of infection. Immunity is not permanent. We may contract Coronavirus as regularly as the common cold.
This brings a new world to all the human race. Underlying infections may bring lives to an end at any time.
