RESPECT VS RACISM IN PAPUA NEW GUINEA

As an army officer posted to the PNGDF after independence, I was part of the rush job of an Australian contingent selected for positive attitudes to race and a willingness to work within the PNGDF command structure.

Our mission was to train PNGDF personnel and pass over command at all levels. It was not perfect but command and control was passed to PNGDF officers within the decade.

There were several crises during that time that ended with the Bougainville crisis but PNGDF and Australian soldiers rode out the problems with professional application to duty. There was the Diro-Rumkorem affair and the attempted coup.

On return to Australia, I served at the RAAF School of Languages after two years of struggling with Tok Pisin. Courses were run for Australian personnel and families on posting to PNG.

Stress was placed on Tok Pisin and on the ethos of professionalism in working positively with the PNGDF. Australian soldiers were briefed on how to conduct themselves. I wish the same had happened with 2 Squadron of the SAS on route to Afghanistan.

Imagine my complete shock to return to PNG on retirement to be confronted with the arrogance and racism of AusAID advisors at all levels who came to promote their so-called AIDS awareness. They were as different to the Australian military as chalk and cheese.

They arrived as conquerors committed to bullying and total lack of respect for national doctors, clergy and care groups.

There was no plan of localization and no training of counsellors on living in families with HIV/AIDS. Family was a dirty word.

There was only a plan to snatch as much boomerang aid as possible for as long as it took and bring unqualified friends from Australia to share the aid money. FAMILY and FAITH were banned.

AusAID silenced clergy and doctors in the plan to push a gay, lesbian and paedophile agenda. If these people disobeyed, they would be black-banned and funding to their church or care group cut off.

But AusAID hit a brick wall when AIDS Holistics arrived with the retired army officer as founder of Positive Living.

Paedophiles could not shut him up as he was reasonably independent on his military pension. He was threatened with violence and shamed with fake news about child molesting.

The hate campaign failed as several members of parliament were quietly advised by email in Australia and PNG including the Australian Prime Minister.  The paedophiles failed to have me deported. Many paedophiles were removed by the Australian Government.

The founder was a member of the Australian Labor Party. He always looked back to the respect and dignity of working with the PNGDF. There were 3 PNGDF officers who came to work in teaching Tok Pisin. We never had a cross word in 6 years.

Some months after their beginning, the AusAID scumbags had shamed the nation with culturally rude talks of sex in a conservative nation.

They posted a media statement called "Operation last chance." If the nation did not follow their advice, the paedophiles would pack up and go home. Haha. What about the boomerang aid ??

People were told to use a condom when they koap. This was like announcing in the Australian media to use a condom when we F.....ck.  Community groups were shocked.

But this was a trick to identify the community and church groups that would speak out against the AusAID paedophiles.

They would be the first to be black banned and lose funding. It was like counting guns of the enemy in a battle.

But the AusAID group only lasted until about 2006. AIDS Holistics is still here and Positive Living is stronger than ever based on FAMILY and FAITH.

If I am still alive and Cox and Watson ever come back, the war will start again. They do not have a hope.
