Report in the media by Minister for Health and HIV/AIDS Jelta Wong advised that the number of deaths to HIV infection is dropping in PNG.
There may be several causes with people going for HIV testing and starting ART medication early without default. The report advises that there is now a second and third line of treatment that are expensive. Best not to default on the first line.
We hope that AIDS Holistics has played a part with our never-ending promotion of Positive Living. Even the National AIDS Council has run out of funds.
