My daughter is about to finish grade 10 in a Papua New Guinea High School. She has completed the Personal Development study for that year. She has been studying Personal Development since grade 6.
It is a well developed course ending in grade 10 with a module on Health and Physical Fitness. Not a gay or lesbian in sight anywhere. This module seems to have incorporated Physiology with a focus on keeping the body systems healthy by exercise, diet, and clean water.
There is a focus on (1) the skeletal structure (2) muscle system (3) digestive system (4) excretory system (5) nervous system (6) heart and blood system (7) endocrine system and (8) reproductive system.
I asked her about a focus on gay and lesbian sex. She said it is not important to her. She knows of no gay, lesbian or transsexual child in her school. I speak to teachers who say the same. My daughter says she has met two gay men who work as stewards for Air NiuGini.
She says she knows no gay, lesbian or transsexual child. The gay and lesbian activists are grossly exaggerating to gain access to school curriculum. They would like to trick young boys and girls into thinking they were gay and lesbian.
Teenage girls love their girl friends. Lesbian !! Teenage boys love their mates. Gay!!

PNG people may remember that just before the last election in this country, there was a plan announced by the Department of Education for every child in PNG schools to be given a condom.
