There was a report on ABC TV Q and A program from a doctor saying that the virus in extreme cases will make all body systems shut down. The patient will die.
Obviously this is not the case with those who survive and recover.
The virus damages the lungs causing pneumonia and blocking the
absorbtion of oxygen to the blood system and removal of carbon dioxide
from the blood.
When
the body lacks oxygen, the patient will die. There will be shut down of
the brain causing dementia, heart causing strokes, lungs causing
suffocation, kidneys causing break down of the system that filters the
blood and liver stopping the synthesizing of food.
Our website has long described the breakdown of body systems. Pre-existing illnesses including obesity will assist the break-down.
There is a new anti-viral drug that seems to hold promise called remdisivir.
It was said to hasten the recovery of patients by 3-4 days. We hope
that this blocks the final shut down of body systems. Let us all wait.
