EX-WIFE DENIES ABDUCTION

The National 17 May 2012

The ex-wife of an Australian has refuted allegations made by pilot Fred Martens that she abducted children. She said he made allegations to spoil her name. She said the allegations were mere lies.

Katu told The National she had been looking after the boys since 2007. She said the boys belonged to one of his wives.

She claimed that Martens had more than 10 partners while working in Australia and PNG and had a lot of children. She said Joshua was fathered by a business partner of Martens.

Comment: The question is how Martens got children out of PNG without permission of the biological mothers and without visas. Did he fly them out in his own aircraft?

Were false birth certificates used? Did he divorce his Malaysian wife before marrying in PNG?

Was Katu the woman who testified to secure his release? Now he is saying she abducted his children. That is definitely not gratitude.
