There has been a minor furore on Aussie TV lately about an advertisement put out by Gillette. It talks about men being men and boys not being bullies and not involved in Toxic Masculinity.
There have been women come on talk shows to condemn the advertisement saying that the company has no right to put men and boys down, just to sell razors.
They say that the men folk in their families are gentle people and should not be made to feel guilty about violence. They are being over-sensitive.
I think that is a wonderful advertisement. Good men know that it does not refer to them. They know that domestic violence does exist. Boys can grab each other and wrestle. That is being boys.
It is good to know that there are women in Australia prepared to defend their men and boys.
If the advertisement comes to PNG TV, the lesbians will go wild. All men in PNG are violent. Ask the foreign lesbians of the UN and AusAID.
