PAPUA NEW GUINEA BETRAYED FOR A DECADE

I am writing to express shame at the way Papua New Guinea has been treated by Australian advisors in the HIV/AIDS campaign since 2002. As an Australian army officer, I find that their behaviour is quite foreign to me.

I came to PNG to work as an army officer in 1975 and was tested and interviewed to determine my suitability from a racial point of view. I was a training officer at the Joint Services College at Igam Barracks.

I was awarded the 10 Year Independence medal in 1985 for services to the country at the RAAF School of Languages where I trained over 4000 defence personnel in 14 years in Tok Pisin and culture. Those were golden years in the Australian commitment to PNG.

What a shock it was to work in the country from 1993 and witness the racist bullying of Australian advisors in the HIV/AIDS response. These were the bad scumbag years.

I am sure that the Howard Government had the best intentions in giving HIV/AIDS support and was not to know that they had assigned a medical team of gays, lesbians and paedophiles who had no intention whatever of helping the people with AIDS awareness. 

They wanted to sexually exploit the people and turn PNG into a Pacific gay and lesbian paradise. What did the PNG people know? They were just primitive bushkanakas. So we force them to accept same sex marriage and have sex with their kids.

For over 100 years, this country has been brought to modern civilization by generations of kiaps and missionaries. 

Then the foreign paedophiles arrived to tell the people they were homophobic if they did not support gays and lesbians. But same sex marriage was for foreigners to marry PNG boys and girls. Can we imagine a PNG woman going back to her village with her wife?

Missionaries and Scripture were in error. The modern view was to see faith as being supported by fairy tales. The foreign gays and lesbians brought a pagan perspective that they planned to force into PNG culture.

From the beginning the churches and care groups were bullied into submission for fear of punishment by the Australian paedophiles. They went silent but now openly support family.

Australian advisors worked to rip off as much boomerang aid as they could and bring as many untrained friends from Australia as consultants to share in the HIV/AIDS gravy train.

Some years back the Australian Prime Minister Rudd who had been reading AIDS Holistics emails took steps to remove large numbers of Australian consultants and reduce the foreign aid to HIV/AIDS awareness and make the gravy train less attractive.

The responsibility fell back to PNG advisors many of whom were gay and lesbian and totally unprepared to give valid advice on HIV/AIDS care. They regularly give false advice even today.

This country has been pulled back from the brink by the Positive Living message of AIDS Holistics and the Seventh Day Adventist church. 

It is a medical message more than a religious message and deals with reducing blood pressure to limit heart attacks, strokes, cancer and diabetes two. Positive Living strengthens the immune system against all ills including HIV infection.

The foreign paedophiles were skilled only in condemning gender based violence and ignoring gay and lesbian partner violence.

But this nation will stand tall with the Personal Development message in schools Grades 6-12 that focuses on family, rights and responsibilities. Nothing happens quickly.
