GETTING HATE MAIL INTO PERSPECTIVE

Friends have expressed anger at the hate mail directed at the founder of AIDS Holistics on the internet. I tell them not to worry.

They tell me there is no comparison between the high class professional writing on Family Positive Living and the low class obscene rubbish from hate mailers on low class blog sites.

They know that the founder of AIDS Holistics has always had a single focus on living with HIV/AIDS and no interest whatever in obscene emails to porn stars and other women of unknown name and email address.

The hate mailers have revealed a sleezy world of deceit within the PNG HIV/AIDS response at the hands of overseas activists and others, mainly from Australia.

I tell friends that as an activist, I welcome responses from opponents, sleezy or not. They provide valuable intelligence that will eventually bring their defeat. The silent majority is reading too.
