BE ROLE MODELS : VICE CHANCELLOR

Students of the University of Natural Resources and Environment Studies were told to be role models to gain respect and be successful people in the future.
This was the message from the Vice-Chancellor Professor Philip Siaguru to the students in their orientation Day.
He said that a role model was someone you admired and choose to be like as you take that first step towards adulthood and become a professional.
Dr Siaguru said that role models had several different admirable qualities such as confidence in their decisions.
They have to have the humility not to be arrogant and not make the right choices because they were intelligent.
He said that they do the right thing often at personal sacrifices when no one is looking which is what makes them unique confident individuals. Confidence was the key to success.
AIDS Holistics has focused on role models within families for the last decade. The role model is the key to young people growing to be effective parents and strong contributing members of the community.
