GAY DEATH WISH

AIDS Holistics is committed to supporting people in the community in awareness of HIV/AIDS. We have written on Positive Living, role of family and physiology of the virus and the body.

But there is one group left out of all AIDS awareness. They are the gay men and boys of Papua New Guinea who have been lured into a gay lifestyle by expatriate men.

The gay lifestyle is secret and kept hidden from the national men and boys by expatriate gays. Put simply, they can die from an active lifestyle of gay sex.

The world secret is that gays have a reduced lifestyle as the result of the ravages of the gut parasites. This is particularly so if there are repeated infections of the same parasites.

It is not just HIV/AIDS that will kill them. It is the massive damage of gut parasites. Most if not all national gays would know nothing about the enormous damage that can be caused by gut parasites.

Gut parasites are the secret part of the gay death wish. They enter the body in faeces taken into the mouth of a partner.

Gut parasites invade the small intestine and lay eggs in the epithelial layer. Gays need to take tablets for HIV and gut parasites. Papua New Guinea gays may not know this.

Gays may not understand the damage caused by anal sex. The penis will tear the mucosal layer of the anus opening the door wide to infection of HIV.

Gay sex can give genital herpes that permanently infect the penis and anus and transmit to other partners. Other gut parasites may spread out to damage other parts of the body including brain, liver, lungs, genitals and lymph system.

Gays and lesbians cry that the community discriminates against them. But in the lack of awareness the gays and lesbians give to young people about dangers of homosexual sex, they discriminate far more.

They may see the young people as sex fodder not as individuals. The day has come when the young sex fodder will strike back more and more in the vehicle from the nightclub to the hotel or apartment.

They have come to rob not for gay sex. We may have seen the results of that in recent times in Port Moresby.

In the vehicle, young men or boys may get a wallet and a car. In the apartment, they may get DVDs, computer, TV, passport, weapon and pornography.

Gay and lesbian expatriates prefer to live in Port Moresby. Here they live in apartments with high fences, guards and dog with an intercom in the foyer. They feel safe against angry family come to retrieve the son or daughter.

But the expatriate may be attacked in the street or the car park of an unfenced apartment. We saw this with an AusAID person coming home with her partner only several months ago. The attackers were probably not rascals but family of the PNG girl.

Long term gays are taking a risk. Most expatriate gays live protected and move out after 2 years. Most young boys have long memories long after they are young men.
