A SUMMIT ON FAMILY

Papua New Guinea seems to be so disconnected on the issue of family. Even the churches have not got their act together on the role of family.

We have foreign donor organizations working to an agenda that gives children rights and no responsibilities. Parents are expected to have all responsibilities and no rights. The nation has not expressed unity in the ownership of the family issue.

We are starting to see the fruits of the all rights and no responsibilities outlook of kids in the recent riots of Tottenham, London, Manchester and Philadelphia.

Parents were blamed by the Philadelphia police for allowing their children to rampage on the streets. But a message to the kids is that they have the right to associate with whomever they want. That is what the United Nations Charter of Children’s Rights tells them. Someone is not telling the truth.

The British police are ready for the next riot with high pressure water cannon. The kids and opportunistic adults will find fierce community sanctions against them. The suggestion has been mooted that rioters and looters lose any social security benefits.

In Britain there were vigilante groups in the suburbs ready to defend their shops and houses from gangs of looters. It is not going to be easy in future attacks. People will die including kids.

Football riots have been going on for years. It is not difficult to trap a large group of looters between two long lines of police protected by riot gear and armed with truncheons. Water cannon would have gangs of looters floating down the street. These have only been used in Northern Ireland, so we read.

British police have the cooperation of mobile phone companies in intercepting internet messages. Blackberry has indicated support in compliance with the legislation against use of mobile phones for criminal purposes. The police are very happy to have opened that door.

The issue of family rights and responsibilities is coming to a head over the western world. The nations have enough problems without baggy arsed kids forcing the Governments to waste national resources.

Police in Britain are undoubtedly working overtime to monitor the movements of the kids and others. The kids may find that future riots will result in immediate arrests.

They have marked themselves already. At the very worst, the police could set up youth concentration camps where inmates are interrogated one at a time over several weeks. There would be kids crying for their mummy. Right of association sucks.

The United Nations Charter of Children’s Rights has been discredited particularly in the rights of association of children. We read of the nonsense in the United States whereby parents have no right to open their children’s Facebook and Twitter accounts. That is an in-family matter not a Court matter.

What has happened is really very positive. The stalemate has been broken between the no rights and full responsibilities of parents and no responsibilities and full rights of kids. The police will have their say.

Papua New Guinea has much to benefit from what has happened overseas. This nation has had 10 years of subversion from foreign organizations. These employ gays, lesbians and paedophiles who have worked to weaken families and put the kids on the streets. That is where the paedophiles work best.

Papua New Guinea should have a national summit on the role of family in society. All organizations should have representatives attend the summit. These should be drawn from the judiciary, police, welfare, churches, foreign organizations, private companies, Girl Guides, Boy Scouts and other stakeholders.

All organizations are listed and required to prepare a pre-conference paper that is emailed to all stakeholders. This will set out their agenda towards family. Any stakeholder who does not submit a paper will be required to account for their inaction.

The International Crime Unit will be given the power if not held already to check with overseas crime authorities such as Scotland Yard and the FBI to vet all foreign workers for paedophile and other criminal activities.

All stakeholders should sign a Memorandum of Understanding on the role of family. Foreign organizations should undertake by contract to support families.

Papua New Guinea should consider the value of probation officers who will monitor and advise young people released from prison or placed under community service.

The foreign organizations should start replacing their gays, lesbians and paedophiles with people who give what the client wants. It is not discrimination. It is fulfilling the selection criterion of family commitment.
