Many heterosexual husbands abuse their wives.
Many gay husbands abuse their wives.
Many lesbian husbands abuse their wives.
So the issue is really about husbands abusing wives.
We have to advise that in gay and lesbian relationships,
there is always a husband and a wife.
But then:
Some heterosexual wives abuse husbands.
Some gay wives abuse their husbands.
Some lesbian wives abuse their husbands.
...... and children.
