IT DOES NOT ADD UP

There seems to be a concerted campaign on Google by gays and lesbians to show that gay and lesbian families are kind, loving and caring. This is in direct contrast to the heterosexual families that are violent and abusive.

But there are dozens of pages on Google that report on same sex domestic violence. We read dozens of reports on the need for shelters in American cities for gays and lesbians battered by their partners.

We read of the movement of gays and lesbians within same sex marriage and the incidence of having partners apart from the partner that they claim to have married. There are break-ups and violence.

But then comes the matter of the children. We are told in no uncertain terms that children in gay and lesbian relations are happy, well adjusted and able to face the diversity of life.

We need to weigh that up against the domestic violence that is reported. How many surveys are carried out in gay and lesbian shelters?

One report from Aardvarc cites 500,000 gay men battered by their partners each year. Many of these would have children who suffer from the same household violence. But the reports on Google are that children of gay and lesbian couples are happy and well adjusted. Not one surveyed was being abused.
