ANOTHER FAKE STORY ON GORDONS MARKET

There is another fake story in The National  8 October 2012 about violence in Gordons Market. It all goes to show that the UN lesbians have to come in to run courses.

They need to have evidence of violence before their Violence to Women in Markets campaign coming up soon. But their stories are fake.

Making false reports is a criminal offence in Papua New Guinea. The journalist Starza Paul has done that twice in the last week in his unsuccessful effort to show violence of men at Gordons market.

The question arises as to whether or not he is working in support of UN lesbians preparing for their campaign coming soon.

A soldier from Taurama Barracks was attacked by a street rascol at the market. That is where the truth stops.

He was stabbed at the bus stop some three hundred meters away from the gates of the market. The bus area is another world.

Rascols tend to gather at bus stops to pick pocket travellers pushing and crushing to get on the bus. They may not notice a hand in their pocket or bag.

Eye witnesses stated that a woman had her mobile phone stolen by a street boy who was confronted by the soldier to return the mobile phone. The rascol took out a knife and stabbed him.

The rascol was grabbed by passersby and taken to the police station and put in the cells.

I asked several vendors within the market and security guards who advised that there are very few problems in the market itself. It is very peaceful, crowded  and slushy.

The report went back to the soldiers at Taurama Barracks who came to the market in force. Many vendors sought safety at the police station.

Some vendors said that the street raskols sought refuge in the market when the soldiers arrived.

But the reporter has another story. It was not vendors but rascols storming the police station, demanding that their friend be released.

There is no evidence that stones were thrown as reported on Page 2 of The National.

The news report was that stones damaged walls and lights of the police station. Not true.

Police confirmed once more that the media reports of rapes last week were false. Sorry journalist Starza Paul. Please click:

FAKE MEDIA REPORT ON MARKET RAPE

There are two lessons here. One is that men help women. Men are willing to confront rascols giving trouble to women. Sorry UN lesbian women.
