LAST WORD ON ALLEGED MARKET RAPE

The issue has attracted the attention of AIDS Holistics in following over the last 12 months the fake stories put out by the raskol organization UN Women.

The Head of UN Women had raised two issues that had to be debunked. She claimed that (1) Port Moresby markets were dangerous places for women and girls and (2) sorcery killings were gender based.  Both claims were totally false.

The Head of UN Women worked for AusAID in the national HIV/AIDS response, setting up a lesbian infrastructure. She used the same basic dirty tricks against AIDS Holistics.

Her modus operandi was to make up false stories, spread the stories and then act in a punitive response. Present alleged rapes would be the culmination of a fake UN campaign against men in the Port Moresby markets. Please click:

Now there is a claim by a male journalist Starza Paul of The National newspaper that two women were raped in Gordons market.  Perhaps one more was added for luck. Please click:

THE NATIONAL NEWSPAPER SUPPORTS FALSE REPORT

AIDS Holistics checked about a week ago by walking around the market within sight of the alleged rape. It may be that people were afraid to tell the truth but there was a common story that the rape did not occur. This was the view at the police station.

There was also a report at the hand of this journalist of a soldier stabbed while shopping. He also reported that the police station was attacked by a gang of youths who stoned the station, damaging walls and security lights. There is no evidence of damage.

Yesterday, I was in the vicinity of Gordons market. I returned to inspect. Several people confirmed the rape but had not seen it.

I visited the police station to speak to Sergeant Alois Haija but he was not there. I spoke to two older police men and asked quietly if the rapes did occur. Both looked at each other then gently shook their heads.

I could see a parallel with the fake attack of the Nazis on the radio station in 1938. Everyone in Germany believed it because every one else believed it.

But the market rape incidents were not taken up by the other newspapers and TV station. No official statement appeared to exist. It is as if it did not happen.

There would be no police reports and no available witnesses or victims. One distinct possibility was that it did not happen. Why has no-one come forward? Surely someone recognised a youth involved in rape.

The only response was a squad of police who removed  law abiding citizens selling goods on the vacant land outside the gate.

I am reminded of the movie of the 1970s with Peter Finch in which the journalists were making up their own news incidents.

In the Sunday Chronicle 14 October 2012, there is a report that the Catholic Bishop's Conference calling on soldiers to patrol the city. The article stated that "we read in the newspaper of a cruel rape of a mother in Gordon's market". The report did not confirm that it happened.

The report stated that the woman was afraid to report to the police. It would not stop witnesses from making a confidential report. The woman would be protected. But witnesses claim she was attacked by one man.

There were so many false statements in the media report last week with (1) woman dragged through the crowd by a gang (2) gang of youths stoning the police station with damage to walls and lights (3) soldier stabbed by a gang of youths and (4) a second rape somewhere at the market.

Witnesses report that both attacks of the woman and soldier were done by an individual not a gang. Pickpockets always work alone. The soldier had confronted a pickpocket who had stolen the mobile phone of a woman. He was stabbed by that pickpocket according to nearby sellers.
