Sorcery is not funny. But the scene in Life of Brian was hilarious. It starred John Cleese who stood on the mount and addressed a group of English medieval peasants in their filthy brown tunics.
Peasants: Kill im. He's a sorcerer. Kill im.
John Cleese: How do you know? What proof do you have?
Peasants: He kills people.
Peasant 1: He turned me into a toad.
John Cleese: But you are not a toad.
Peasant 1: Well..... Oi turned back agin didn oi?
