DEBT OF GRATITUDE FOR SUPPORT OF A FRIEND

I wish to express my deep gratitude to Reginald Renagi, an old friend of 34 years. We knew each other in our days in the PNGDF. When the vicious attack on AIDS Holistics took place in December 2011, he came out in support of the founder.

A new strategy was that the founder of AIDS Holistics was mentally ill, obsessed and anally-fixated. He had full blown AIDS and was a violent family basher. As well he was a womaniser and a closet gay. Busy man.

Jackson accepted all this by his uncritical support of the gay and lesbian hate campaign. They were trying to influence the Australian Foreign Minister to reverse his decisions on funding.

Reg Renagi was not happy that the founder of AIDS Holistics had been banned from PNG Attitude by the blog master Keith Jackson but still attacked with no opportunity to respond.

The basis of the attack was that the gay and lesbian lobby was suffering in this country. Under the authority of the Australian Foreign Minister Kevan Rudd, the consultants had been massively cut back in funding.

The blame fell to the founder of AIDS Holistics who they believed had provided the reports upon which the Australian Government had based their decision to cut funds. That was probably true.

So Jackson decided to come out in support of the gay lobby for reasons about which we can only guess. He misused information about his blog. His only strategy was to make personal attacks.

He had banned input from AIDS Holistics and tried to make a federal case out of the fact the the founder of AIDS Holistics continued to write under pen names. The blog readership was more important than the ego of the blogmaster,

The issues were Outcome Based Education and the Ramu NiCO project. The OBE issue is now part of this blog. But the Australian decision to cut funding to Australians was spot on. Jackson failed. He knew I was writing under pen-names as do many readers to his blog.

Jackson sees himself as the Ming emperor of Australian-PNG relations. His word is final. The success of contributors to his blog depends on a willingness to kowtow. The founder of AIDS Holistics has never done that.

Keith - My defence of Bruce Copeland is simply because he can

not comment on this blog.

But he can read what is being written about him by people who really

do not know him.

I have spoken to him many times about this matter before, but you

know yourself he can be a very stubborn man.

I can clarify a lot of what he says. He explains better than any Australians

here from the PNG perspective (which Bruce knows too).

But will my comments get posted on the PNG Attitude to add some fairness

and balance?

I believe the blogmaster is a fair-dinkum Aussie. He will not pernalise me

unduly for standing up for some one who is being misunderstood.

It comes from the strength of his own conviction in what he believes is the

right path for PNG.

Bruce has the interest of PNG at heart and not Australians who want

to shoot the messenger. Are we only shooting the messenger here or

his message too? That will be a real grave tragedy for my country.

Keith, Bruce is not harming the PNG Attitude but his own email list

standing.

And he accepts that risk. But he's an intelligent activitist. His mission

is a long term one.

He will restrategise and refine/improvise as he goes along to educate

non-enlightened PNGeans.

Many readers on the PNG Attitude will appreciate many of Bruce's

comments here on a wide variety of issues.

His comments on this blog generally makes sense even if they were

from his funny friends (pen-name characters).

He expects you to do that along with the few who have ask before to

take them off his list.
