A LOST FATHER - DAVID BRIDIE

David Bridie shows a  love for this country in ongoing support for the music industry. Read the May 2016 issue of the PNG Air Magazine where he is seen singing with George Telek. Let us hope his feeling for this country is lifted by knowing he has a daughter and grandchildren.

My daughters have a mixed race cousin sister aged 30 years old. Her mother lives in the village in the Eastern Highlands.

She has never met her father though she knows his name. He is an Australian who was the band leader of a group named Not Drowning -Waving. His name is David Bridie.

Ato is a lovely lady, kind, peaceful and honest. If her father is anything like her, he is a man of quality. She is too shy to make contact. Ato would be cross if I tell her about this blog report.

She follows her fathers career in this country. Only recently he appeared in the PNG Air in-flight magazine singing with George Telek. She sees him as a judge on the national talent show. The group is well represented on Google. Please click:

I do not want to cause embarrassment. She was conceived many years ago. David Bridie should be proud to know her. He can make contact with me on Digicel 73009142. Her number is 72639895.

Recently she told me that I am the only white man she knows who has stayed in the country and suffered with his mixed race children. She does not blame her father. But she would be very pleased if he knew of her existence.

My daughter loves her as her second sister. She says that Ato is the woman she goes to when she wants to talk out a problem. Ato listens.
