TEACHER-STUDENT CHATS ON INTERNET

We read in The National 24 October 2011 P.41 that the Governor of Missouri in the Land of the Bizarre has restored the rights of teachers to have chats with students over internet. Can there be talks over mobile phones?

But the sites have to be visible to people such as administrators and parents. What nonsense is that? This appears to be another case of parental rights being destroyed.

It does not take a genius to work out that kids often have their computers in their bedrooms. They also have internet on mobile phone. What if teachers use a false name? It is the thin edge of the wedge for paedophile teachers to infiltrate the family.

What if a parent objects to nightly calls to and from teachers? Can the child and teacher tell the parent to go to hell? It is their right.

What about the gay and lesbian education system in Massachusetts? At least the chats can be used to arrest teachers engaged in sexual conversations.

But in Massachusetts, teachers could talk to students on gay and lesbian sex and be within the syllabus.
