the teacher has students write the essay, edits and corrects the essay, has the student rewrite and polish, checks again, has the student polish again and practise in own words to a time limit.

But lazy teachers will not like that. They will want to write in red on the essay and return to the student who may then throw the essay into the creek on the way home.
