This country has been suffering from so many people ignoring responsibilities. The founder of AIDS Holistics is not free from this too.

Responsibilities are ignored at all levels. We have rights and responsibilities from the Prime Minister to a young child in a family. Parents have responsibilities. Employees have responsibilities to do their job a s best they can.

But the past Government has taught us that it is not what is right that matters. It is what we can get away with. Papua New Guinea has to awaken to a sense of responsibilities.

Now we find that women are drinking homebrew and smoking marijuana. What of their responsibilities to family? Young people are joining cults.

Women would ask what about the responsibilities of husbands and fathers? That is true too. Surely schools can teach responsibilities to children from elementary level upwards. How can you help your mother at home? What can you do to help your little sister?

We have to understand that all this may be no accident. There are overseas advisors working in the UN and AusAID who are happy to find that families are dropping in family unity.

That is why they never talk of responsibilities - only rights.They want the entire community to be dysfunctional and for all morality and ethics to drop to a low level. That will give them access to the children. Then PNG will not be the land of the unexpected. It will be the land of the expatriate and national paedophiles.
